When your child completes the current academic term at his/her school, please request that a complete transcript be mailed to Woodward Academy, Admissions Office, 1662 Rugby Avenue, College Park, Georgia 30337.
Health Forms
The form required by the Department of Human Resources (Immunization Form 3231 for PK-12) must be submitted prior to the student's attending class. Please submit both Form 3231 and the Woodward Academy Health Form at the earliest possible date after acceptance if not previously submitted. For your convenience, a copy of the Woodward Academy health form can be downloaded from the Health Services page.
Bus and Car Pool Information
When the bus routes are finalized, each enrolled student will receive the bus information and registration materials from the Business Office. For car pool information, please email bus@woodward.edu or call 404.765.4523 after May 1, 2012 to request the names of the 2012-2013 students who reside within your zip code area. Bus information...
Tuition Balances
Balances will be billed on June 14, 2012, and the full payment is due by July 16, 2012 or by one of the Academy approved payment plans.
Summer Reading and Math Packets
Summer reading lists can be accessed on the Summer Reading web page located in the Student section of the web site. There are summer reading lists for all grade levels.
There are also math packets for the 4th through 8th grades. You will need to print the math packets.
Purchasing Books and Uniforms

North Campus
(Pre-Kindergarten through Sixth, Johns Creek)
Woodward Academy’s North Campus will conduct a New Family Orientation on Thursday, August 9, 2012. PreKindergarten parents and students will meet at 4:00 PM, and Kindergarten through sixth grade parents and students will meet at 7:00 PM.
Students should report in uniform for mandatory registration and classroom visits on Friday, August 10, 2012. Full-day classes for these students will begin at 8:00 AM on Monday, August 13, 2012.
Main Campus
Parents of new Main Campus students (Primary School, Lower School, Middle School, and Upper School) will meet for an information session on the evening of Sunday, May 20, 2012. The event will begin with parent registration at 5:00 PM followed by dinner at 5:30 PM. The evening will give parents an opportunity to meet the principals, counselors, departmental chairpersons and to learn how they may assist their child during the first few days of school. The evening will conclude at 8:30 PM Reservations can be made starting in May by calling the Admissions Office at 404.765.4001.
Primary School (Pre-Kindergarten through Third, Main Campus, College Park)
Students should report in uniform for registration and classroom visits on Thursday, August 9, 2012 (for Kindergarten and Second Grades) from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM, or Thursday, August 19, 2012 (for First and Third Grades) from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Full-day classes for these students will begin at 8:00 AM on Monday, August 13, 2012.
Lower School (Fourth through Sixth, Main Campus, College Park)
Lower School New Student Orientation will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Students should wear play clothes and report to the Lower School Gym. New sixth grade students will report at 8:15 AM for Math Testing and will join the other new students at 10:00 AM for orientation. Please note that this orientation is for students who are new to Woodward Academy, not students moving up from our Primary School or Woodward North campuses.
Students should report in uniform for registration and classroom visits on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Full-day classes for these students will begin at 8:25 AM on Monday, August 13, 2012.
Middle School (Seventh and Eighth, Main Campus, College Park)
At the meeting of new parents on Sunday, May 20, 2012, parents will be given their student's tentative schedule for the 2012-2013 school year. New Parents with questions or concerns about these schedules should contact the Middle School at 404.765.4430.
Middle School will conduct their Orientation Day on Friday, August 10, 2012, from 8:30 AM until 2:30 PM with Woodward's school buses running their morning and afternoon routes.. Attendance is mandatory for all new Middle School students, and all students should report in uniform.
Middle School classes will begin at 8:25 AM on Monday, August 13, 2012.
Upper School (Ninth through Twelfth, Main Campus, College Park)
Class scheduling for grades 9-12: Beginning April 18, 2012, new Upper School students will need to schedule an appointment with Upper School Administration for counseling and scheduling. The appointments will be scheduled from May 29, 2012 thru June 19, 2012. Parents may email Kathy Sheesley at kathy.sheesley@woodward.edu or call 404.765.4450 to make an appointment.
The Upper School will conduct their Orientation Day for all new students in grades 9-12 on Friday, August 10, 2012. Attendance is required for all freshmen and strongly encouraged for new sophomore and junior students. Students should report in uniform for orientation. On Friday, August 10, 2012 the orientation session will begin at 8:30 AM and conclude at 2:30 PM with Woodward’s school buses running their morning and afternoon routes.
Upper School classes will begin at 8:20 AM on Monday, August 13, 2012.
