Boys Soccer Advances to State Final!
The Boys Varsity Soccer team will once again play for the AAA State Championship. The War Eagles advanced to the final game with a 3-2 overtime win over Carrollton on Tuesday evening in a closely contested semi-final. Cameron Mosely scored a pair of goals and Enrique Guerra added another to lead Woodward Academy. The War Eagles will now travel to Gainesville to take on the Red Elephants for the AAA Championship. Match date and time has not yet been determined.

Boys Track and Field 3rd at State Meet
Congratulations to the Boys Track and Field team for their 3rd place finish at the state meet. It was a true team effort as the team scored points in the field events, the distance races, the sprints, and the relays. Ian Cadger finished 2nd in the 300M Hurdles in a school-record time of 37.94, Chris Burnett finished 3rd in the 1600M in 4:19.56 and 4th in the 800M in a new school record of 1:55.46. The 4x400M Relay Team of Kyle Hawkins, Chris Burnett, Wesley Shaw, and Nat Johnson finished 4th after setting a school record in the event (3:20.12) in Friday's semi-finals. Spencer Clapes finished 5th in the Pole Vault with a PR of 13-06, River Holifield finished 5th in the 3200M in a PR of 9:41.14, Nat Johnson finished 6th in the 400M in a PR of 49.05, and Drew Sands Finished 7th in the 3200M. Congratulations once again on a great season.

Boys Soccer Advances to Semi-finals
The Boys Varsity Soccer team advanced in the AAA state playoffs on Friday with a 5-0 win over Mary Persons. Woodward Academy will now face Carrollton in the State Semi-finals on Tuesday at Woodward Academy. Kickoff has been set for 7:00 PM at Woodward Academy.

Girls Golf 3rd at State Championships
The Woodward Academy Girls Golf team captured 3rd place at the AAA State Golf Championships on Monday. The team of Taylor Strawn, Dorsey Addicks, Kelly Guest and Morgan Freeman turned in a team score of 175, just 9 strokes off the winning score of 166. Congratulations on another great season!
