Because tuition only covers 90 percent of our annual operating budget, the Academy relies on contributions to the Woodward Fund. This annual giving program enhances the quality of a Woodward education, providing teachers and coaches with classroom resources, state-of-the-art technology and additional funding for athletics and the arts. Gifts also can be designated for student financial aid. This year's Woodward Fund goal is to raise $1.65 million by May 31, 2012. Please click here if you would like to make a contribution online.
President's Circle
While the Academy values Woodward Fund gifts of all sizes, donors who give $1,500 or more become members of the President's Circle. Members are honored in our President's Circle brochure and receive state-of-the-school reports from Dr. Gulley and invitations to the annual President's Dinner and President's Forum.
Matching Gifts
You can DOUBLE your dollars if you work for a company that matches contributions. Please contact your company’s Human Resources department for information on matching gift programs or click here to use our search tool to find out if your employer will match your gift.
2010-2011 Woodward Fund
During last school year's Woodward Fund effort (June 1, 2010, to May 31, 2011), we received $1,550,430 from 2,640 donors. Additionally, parent participation increased from 52 percent to 55 percent. We greatly appreciate the generosity of the Woodward community and the involvement of numerous volunteers who played an important role in last year's success.
