Meet the Office

Woodward Academy's Advancement Office is located in the Ann and Ben Johnson Center and on the second floor of the Advancement (and Consignment Shop) house. They are across the street from each other on Rugby Avenue and Lee Street in College Park. The office currently has a staff of 13 led by Vice President for Advancement Robert F. Hawks. The Assistant Director of the Woodward Fund is responsible for organizing and implementing all Woodward Fund appeals and acknowledgements, including the coordination of direct mail, phonathons, stewardship events, donor reports, pledge reminders and volunteer solicitors.

The Vice President for Advancement is primarily responsible for all alumni, communications and fundraising activities of the Academy. In addition to managing the Advancement staff, the Vice President works closely with the President and the Board of Governors in forming strategic friendraising initiatives in support of master campus plans, endowment and Woodward Fund goals.
