Woodward Academy focuses on providing an opportunity for average to gifted students (including those with specific learning disabilities) to engage in a rigorous, rich and diverse academic curriculum presented by highly qualified, caring instructors.  We hope to prepare students for admission to a college or university that matches the student's interests and abilities.  We, at the Academy, believe each of our students should have a wide range of opportunities to explore the fine arts, engage in athletic competition and to participate in activities that benefit the community.

Woodward Academy accepts applications year round for all teacher, instructional aide, community coach, and substitute teacher positions.  Listed on the Opportunities Page are immediate openings we are offering.  Although we prefer candidates with experience and Master’s degrees and above, we also believe in giving beginning instructors a chance. The salary for beginning teachers with a Bachelor's degree and little or no experience is $39,500.  Salaries are adjusted commensurate with experience.
