    Woodard Academy football alum Juwan Thompson '10 was recently named to the 2012 All-ACC Academic Team. This marks the second time Juwan has been named to the All-Academic team. You can read the article here and see the entire list of All-Academic selections.

  • Oliver Reynolds '07 Youngest NCAA Head Coach

    Woodward Academy alum Oliver Reynolds may be the youngest NCAA Division I head coach in any sport, although those records are not kept. Oliver, a member of two state championships teams at Woodward Academy and a 2007 graduate, was promoted to interim head coach on February 4th at The Citadel.   • Juwan Thompson '10 Named to Dean's List at Duke University

    Congratulations to Woodward Academy Alum Juwan Thompson '10 who was recently named to the Fall Dean's List with Distinction at Duke University. Juwan was one of 2,170 students named to the list and only one of 682 to be named 'with distinction'. To make the Arts & Sciences dean’s list at Duke University, students must rank in the top third of their college and for dean’s list with distinction, the top tenth of their college. Juwan is a running back on the Duke Football team and played football and ran track while at Woodward Academy.
