The Woodward Academy football hosted St. Pius X last Friday evening in the AAAA State Quarterfinals. Unfortunately, the War Eagles fell to the Golden Lions in a back-and-forth battle, 35-31. The War Eagles finished the 2017 regular season with a record of 9-1 and a perfect 6-0 region record, capturing the 4-AAAA region title and securing a #1 seed in the state playoffs.
