Dining Services

We are here to assist the Academy with food, beverage and tablecloth requests for internal student, faculty and staff events. If you are holding an event and making a reservation through the room reservation system (Intranet only) it will ask you for your food service needs, but please note the following procedures whether you are using your own space or not:

  • All requests must be submitted to us in writing, using the food@woodward.edu e-mail address.
  • If you have any questions that you would like answered before you submit your request, please don't hesitate to contact us.
  • We require a minimum of 48 working hours notice for any small requests like coffee, sodas, water and small food items.
  • For any larger events with more significant planning, at least one weeks notice is require.
  • Please provide us with as many details as possible, including exact event times, location, number of people and services required.
  • We also like to know about any special dietary needs (e.g. vegetarian, allergies etc.)
  • We will plan menus or food items, based around the type of event that you are holding.

Also note: Although we supply our own tables to set up our food or beverages, you will need to contact the Facilities Department through TMA (Intranet only) for any other table/chair requirements for your event.

Certain "out of the ordinary" events may be chargeable and we will contact you to discuss appropriate charges if this is the case. Dining Services will not be able to offer the service of preparing hot box lunches for collection from the serving lines for lunch time clubs and activities.
