Primary School Parent Community News and Events

It has been a great first half of the school year at the Primary School! The Parent Community would like to wish all of the Primary School faculty, staff, students, and parents a wonderful holiday season and a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable winter break. We look forward to seeing you in 2018! If you have time, please come inside the school to see the awesome holiday decorations. Thanks to the many who took the time to assist in getting all of the beautiful holiday decorations up around the school.

Again, we are excited to report that the Primary School led the Academy in the highest percentage of participation to the Woodward Fund. Thank you for giving! We were up slightly from last year and these contributions really do make a difference in our children's learning experience. Please continue your spirit of giving throughout the holiday season by finding specific service opportunities in your community or creating your own family project to pay it forward.

Join us for a Woodward Academy Parent Community Meet & Greet

Meet & Greets will be held on the following Wednesdays, from 8-9:30 a.m., in the Parent Community Lounge located at 1706 Walker Avenue (On the corner of Lee Street and Walker Avenue - No. 22 on the Campus Map with parking located at P5):

November 29
January 17
March 21
May 16

After morning drop off, stop by the Parent Community Lounge to meet your parent community officers and fellow parents. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about all the wonderful Parent Community hosted events and hear about what’s happening on campus including the many volunteer opportunities Academy-wide. As an added bonus, the Consignment Shop also will be open during each of our Meet & Greets! And if you haven’t yet explored the lounge, it’s a great place—just for parents—to relax after drop-off, before pick-up, or if you just need a place to sit and catch up for a few minutes.

Mark your calendar today and bring a friend to join us for a Meet & Greet breakfast on one (or all!) of these mornings. Can’t stay the entire time? No problem! Come say hello and grab a cup of coffee before you begin your day. All parents are welcome to attend!
