Newsletters for Parents
The Woodward magazine is for our entire community and is published three times a year. It is available through Edline for parents, student and faculty/staff. If you would like to receive a copy or have a submission, please contact the Marketing & Communications office via email or call 404.765.4041.

Upper School Publications
The Upper School literary magazine, Silent Voices, is published each spring. Any student who would like to enter works can submit poems, short stories, essays, or artwork, to Ms. Goode-Peoples or email@example.com. Students interested in being on the staff should see Ms. Goode-Peoples in Jane Woodruff Hall, room 113. More information.
Our yearbook, The Phoenix, is made up of a staff of Upper School students filled from applicants from the Upper School Journalism 1 course. Students interested in participating on the yearbook staff should demonstrate superior writing and organizational skills and must take the class which meets daily. Staff members are also needed with interest and/or expertise in writing, graphic design and photography. Interested students should see Ms. Goode-Peoples in Jane Woodruff Hall, room 113. Senior ad information is available via Edline each fall.
The Upper School student journalism staff produces The Blade, a feature-based print quarterly that is focused on long-form journalism, as well as a daily multimedia news website at woodwardblade.com
. The staff also curates social media content on Twitter and Instagram @WAstpress. Any student may write articles or editorials for the print or online versions of The Blade on either a regular or one-time basis and submit for possible publication. The staff seeks students with interests in writing, photography, design and editing. For students interested in serving on the editorial staff, a class is available as part of the academic schedule. Membership in the class is by application. Interested students should see Ms. Goode-Peoples in Jane Woodruff Hall, room 113.
The Inner Voices is a literary magazines where students can submit essays and poems. It provides a way for aspiring journalists, authors and writers to express their opinions. More information.
The Middle School also has a video yearbook that is put together every spring by the faculty. To submit pictures, contact Ms. Dee Koscik.
