Student Publications

The various student publications in the Upper School and the Middle School provide a way for aspiring journalists, authors and writers to express their opinions. Silent Voices and the Inner Voices are both literary magazines where students can submit essays and poems. Now the Upper School's Silent Voices even sponsors coffee houses and a CD of student work. The 2003 issue received the Columbia Scholastic Press Crown Award and Silent Voices was also inducted into the NSPA Hall of Fame for ten years of All American ratings.

Our yearbook, The Phoenix, is made up of a staff of Upper School students. They work throughout the year to create interesting and informative layouts which depict the school year on all three campuses.

The Middle School and Upper newspapers cover opinions, sports, student life, and features editorials. The Middle School Mid Point Newspaper is an online only publication that is presented three times a year. The Upper School newspaper, The Blade is published online and in print.
