STEAM

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics is projected to grow faster than other job sectors. At Woodward Academy, we understand our role to prepare students for the shifting job market and to broaden student skills to identify problems, design solutions, and contribute to a complex, global society.

Our Academy-wide STEAM program emphasizes not just learning content, but designing, building, and creating.

We focus on using tech tools while also leveraging technology and technical skills to find solutions. Students at all levels experience STEAM-driven learning opportunities in their arts, science, and mathematics classes as well as special attention through an interdisciplinary STEAM curriculum.
