In addition to the expert speakers, our admissions staff will be present to speak with families about Academy-specific questions.
At Woodward, Service Learning is more than a requirement; it is a behavior that we instill in our students so they leave our school ready to engage with the world around them. Through experiences inside and outside of the classroom, our Service Learning program gives students the opportunity to learn about the disparities, inequities, and social injustices that face our immediate community, the Metro Atlanta community, and the world. Upper School faculty member and Service Learning Coordinator David Roth '10 will introduce the student and faculty voices of the program and share the local and global impacts our school is making every day.Sign up here!
Director of International & Global Connections, Stéphane Allagnon, will give an overview of the many opportunities Woodward offers students to broaden their horizons, build their world language skills, and engage with the world through study abroad and school-sponsored travel to Zambia, France, Israel, Japan, Ecuador, Cuba, China, Germany, Australia, and more.
The Woodward family gathers together a variety of races, religions, cultures, ethnicities, and learning styles, which means students benefit every day from engaging with peers and mentors who are different from them. Join Woodward's Chaplain Katie Kilpatrick and a panel of Upper School students to learn more about the interfaith initiatives that celebrate the beautiful differences and similarities within our community.Sign up here!
