Applying to private school can be confusing. We're here to help.

We know that, at first, the application process can seem a little overwhelming. The steps below will guide you along the way. And remember, we're always here to help you, so please don't hesitate to reach out to our Admissions team at or 404.765.4001.

Step 1: Create Your Ravenna Account

Woodward uses Ravenna for all steps of the application process, from registering for admissions events and scheduling tours, to submitting applications and transcripts. Click here to create an account today.


Step 2: Visit Campus

Once you’ve created your Ravenna account, you can sign up to visit our beautiful campus any time that’s convenient for you. You can attend Open House, join a small group tour, attend one of our Woodward Wisdom events, or all of the above!

Woodward Wisdom is a series of learning opportunities designed to inform parents about key aspects of applying to Woodward and some of the programming that helps Woodward students achieve success in college and life. In addition to the expert speakers, our admissions staff will be present to speak with families about Academy-specific questions.

    Step 3: Complete Your Online Application

    Please note that the deadline of February 28, 2018, for the 2018-19 school year has passed. If you are interested in submitting a late application, please contact us directly at

    Applications for the 2019-20 school year are available in Ravenna October 1, 2018, and must be completed by February 28, 2019.


    Step 4: Schedule Testing and Interview

    We will send you an email to inform you of your child’s testing and interview requirements, which vary by grade.


    After submitting your application, you may choose an “Experience Woodward Day” for your child to spend time on campus attending classes, meeting current students, and interacting with teachers.
