Our payment and financing options—as well as need-based financial aid for students in grades seven through 12—keep our community of curiosity and creativity available to talented students like yours. If you are accepted, the Enrollment Agreement must be completed online through the Parent Portal. It should be submitted with a $2,500 non-refundable reservation deposit within the required time period. This deposit will count toward your tuition.
Each year the re-enrollment process begins February 1 and must be completed online by March 1, 2017, including the submission of the $2,500 non-refundable reservation deposit per agreement, which will count toward the year's tuition.

Parents are advised to anticipate additional charges throughout the year. Information regarding the purchase of books, supplies, and uniforms is available through the Campus Store. All charges are billed monthly and are due when billed.
Woodward Academy currently offers two options for the payment of tuition—full tuition payment and monthly payment plans. All tuition payments received after the due dates listed in the plans below will be assessed interest charges.
At the time of enrollment and re-enrollment the parent(s) or guardian(s) responsible for tuition payment must select one of the payment options below to indicate which method of tuition payment they intend to use for the 2017-2018 academic school year. While only one payment plan may be selected for each child, a different payment plan may be chosen for siblings.Woodward Academy accepts many forms of payment, including check, e-check, wire transfer, American Express, Discover, Mastercard, or Visa, but does not accept debit cards for the payment options below. Use of a credit card will result in the parent(s) or guardian(s) paying an additional 2.75% convenience fee. To make an online payment, go to the Woodward Student Accounts webpage. Full tuition, all applicable Transition Learning Support Program fees, and international program fees—minus the previously paid reservation fee—are to be paid by June 15, 2017.
If you are interested in financing options, they are available through Springstone Financial's Your Tuition Solution Plan, Sallie Mae’s K-12 Family Education Loan Plan, or prepGATE Loan Program. The parent(s) or guardian(s) responsible for tuition payment is to apply to one of these options and secure payment to Woodward Academy by June 15, 2017. The school code needed to enroll with Sallie Mae is 60910900. There is no school code needed to enroll with Your Tuition Solution or the prepGATE. The Tuition Insurance Plan is optional if you select to pay in full by June 15, 2017. The cost of this insurance is $480 per student.
For the 2017-2018 school year, Woodward Academy offers an eight-month payment plan. Payments will begin in June 2017 and end in January 2018 and are automatically drafted from the parent(s) or guardian(s) bank account or credit card on the 10th of each applicable month. The Tuition Insurance Plan is required if the parent(s) or guardian(s) responsible for payment chooses to pay via the monthly payment plan. The monthly payment amount considers the full tuition and cost of the required Tuition Insurance Plan minus the previously paid reservation deposit, and this total is distributed over eight months (June 15, 2017 through January 15, 2018). Payment of applicable Transition Learning Support Program fees and international program fees also may be distributed equally over the eight months of the payment plan. Finance charges will be applied to all past due balances.

Need-based financial aid is available to students in grades 7-12 and must be applied for and evaluated annually. The application process for financial aid is self-managed and allows families to track each step from start to finish. Applications received after the deadlines stated below may not be considered.

The Financial Aid Committee will review files completed by the February 28, 2017, deadline and notify applicants of decisions by email on April 1, 2017.
The following also should be kept in mind:
- The Financial Aid Worksheet may prove to be helpful in your preparation for completion of the financial aid application.
- In order to be considered for financial aid, the financial information detailed above is required of both biological parents even in cases of divorce, separation, or estrangement.
- No merit-based (academic, artistic, or athletic) scholarships are awarded.
- The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) guidelines mandate that tuition must be paid by a parent, legal guardian, or other family member with the exception of payments coming from need-based financial aid.
- Candidates that fail to provide the required information, do not follow the guidelines, or miss deadlines may not be considered by the Financial Aid Committee.

Tuition Insurance Plan
Woodward Academy’s Policy of Admissions is to enroll students for the current academic year only. Parents have the financial obligation for full tuition, whether or not the student completes the school year. No refund of tuition paid nor cancellation of unpaid obligations can be made by the school or as stated on the application for enrollment.
The Tuition Insurance Plan is available to students attending the first ten calendar days of the school year to assist families with the full-year tuition obligation in the event of illness, relocation, dismissal, or other unanticipated separation from the school.
- 100 percent of the pro rata unused tuition (less the reservation deposit) provided that the student is physically disabled for the balance of the academic year. The disability must be certified by a legally qualified, licensed physician.
- 60 percent of the pro rata unused tuition (less the reservation deposit) when the student suffers a mental or nervous disorder and is disabled for the balance of the academic year. This disability must be certified by a licensed psychiatrist.

50 percent of the pro rata unused tuition (less the reservation deposit) provided the student has attended classes more than the first 10 consecutive academic days.
Note for Students on Tuition Insurance Plans:
Coverage is contingent on the monthly payments being made by the published due dates.
Refund calculations are based on the full year tuition amount. As a result, if the withdrawal from school is early in the school year, the balance due on the student account may be larger than the amount of the refund due. This would result in a net balance due to the school.
The Tuition Insurance Plan covers only tuition. Any incidental charges on the Student Account or the Student Transport Account must be satisfied before refunds are issued.
Fee must be paid by the first day of classes for late enrollees, with medical coverage beginning with the first day attended and non-medical after having attended ten consecutive academic days.
All coverage is contingent upon payment of the fee by the first day of classes.
Coverage for withdrawal due to medical reasons begins on the first day of school and continues through the last day of the academic year.
Coverage for withdrawal due to non-medical reasons begins after the student has attended classes for the first ten (10) consecutive academic days.
- Withdrawal: Complete, voluntary severance from classes for the balance of the academic year.
- Dismissal: Complete, involuntary severance from classes by school authorities for scholastic or disciplinary reasons for the balance of the academic year.
- Classes: Days of formal academic instruction including examinations.
- Temporary medical or non-medical absence and temporary suspension for any reason are not a basis for a claim.
- Withdrawal due to pregnancy or childbirth is considered under the Plan to be a non-medical withdrawal.
- All refunds are based on an academic year of 190 days.
The cost of the Tuition Insurance Plan is $480.00 per student. If you requested the Tuition Insurance Plan on the enrollment agreement, the fee is payable with your first tuition payment according to the tuition plan selected on the enrollment agreement. If not selected during enrollment, the Tuition Insurance Plan may be selected and the fee paid prior to August 12, 2016. The fee must be paid by the first day of school for coverage to be in effect.
The Tuition Insurance Plan is optional if the parent or guardian responsible for payment selects on the (Re)Enrollment Agreement to pay in full or secures a loan by June 15, 2016. The Tuition Insurance Plan is required if the parent or guardian responsible for payment selects on the (Re)Enrollment Agreement to pay by the Academy approved Monthly Payment Plan.
Note: For those enrolled after August 12, 2017, the Tuition Insurance Fee must be paid the first day of classes.
Notification of withdrawal or dismissal by the Office of Admissions to the Business Office will initiate a claim for a student covered by the plan. Temporary medical or non-medical absence and/or temporary suspension for any reason are not a basis for a claim. Medical claims must be reported within twenty (20) days from the date of occurrence. Non-medical claims must be reported as soon as possible after the date withdrawn or dismissed, but not later than thirty (30) days after withdrawal or dismissal occurs.
