In addition to the expert speakers, our admissions staff will be present to speak with families about Academy-specific questions.
Trends, Devices and Recommendations - children are often very "tech literate" in our world today but they desperately need our "life literacy" skills as they learn to manage themselves. This session is designed to help parents become aware of many resources and parenting strategies that are available for parents. We will discuss and share current research-based recommendations for technology access, screen time limits, and parental control features available for the most popular devices. This is presented by Connie White, Director of Learning Design & Innovation at Woodward Academy.
Woodward students and faculty bring a variety of races, religions, cultures, ethnicities, and learning styles, which means children benefit every day from engaging with peers and mentors who are different from them. Join Woodward's Chaplain Katie Kilpatrick and a panel of Upper School students to learn more about the interfaith initiatives they are leading to celebrate the beautiful differences and similarities that create our unique Woodward community.
