Alumni Association

At more than 10,000 members, the Woodward Academy Alumni Association is a vast network of lifelong War Eagles. We hope that your participation in the association deepens your affinity for your alma mater, and we encourage you to take on leadership roles to extend the Academy’s legacy.

The Woodward Academy/GMA Alumni Association exists to serve and engage our alumni community by cultivating a mutually beneficial relationship between the Academy and its alumni that reaches far beyond the student experience.

In a broadly diverse community that embraces the proud traditions of Atlanta's oldest college-preparatory school, the Woodward Academy/GMA Alumni Association will provide opportunities for alumni to remain connected to the Academy and to one another. We shall serve our community by engaging our alumni in order to strengthen volunteer leadership, a spirit of loyalty, and financial support for the school. The Association will foster campus traditions and perpetuate a passion for lifelong involvement with the Academy.

Class Delegates

The Class Delegates are the key volunteers responsible for serving as a liaison between the Alumni Office and their class. Class Delegates are encouraged to use email, text messages, personal phone calls, and social media to engage with their classmates and keep them connected to Woodward Academy. Reunion Volunteers

Reunion volunteers are the key to a fun and successful event. Alumni have the best insight into the kind of celebration their classmates would enjoy, and that makes a real difference in the quality of the experience. Whether calling friends to invite them to Homecoming and Reunion Weekend, assisting in the planning of your party, or asking others to pledge their financial support to the school, alumni involvement is what makes it a great occasion for everyone.
