Woodward girls soccer wrapped up the 2021 season with a record of 14-2-2. The team completed a perfect 7-0 region schedule outscoring their opponents 49-0. The team, undefeated in the region for the fifth year in a row, captured the Region 3-AAAAA Championship advancing to the state playoffs.
In the state playoffs, the team beat Whitewater 2-0 in the first round and beat Ola 9-0 in the sweet 16. The state quarterfinals matched Woodward against a strong and talented St. Pius team which eliminated the War Eagles. Woodward was well represented in the All-Region Team by Brooke Sard, Allyn Tucker, and Wynter Golston making the first team, and Charlotte Rubenstein, Grace Eller, and Angie Jackson on the second team. The War Eagles excelled off the field as well with all 22 players making Eagle Roll this year.
The team sent five seniors to play college soccer: Simi Awujo (University of Southern California), Taylor Brinson (Rollins College), Baleigh Bruster (Duke University), Wynter Golston (West Georgia University), and Alyssa Stadeker (Florida State University).
