Congratulations to Woodward Academy Varsity Swim and Dive's 1st place finish in the team's 2023 Woodward Winter Invitational Meet. The first-ever history making meet was held January 14, 2023, at Woodward's Kennedy Natatorium and hosted more than 150 swimmers from nine teams across the metro area. In the end, Woodward finished with 173 team points followed by Holy Innocents' at 163, and Cherokee Bluff HS at 119 points. 

In addition, Henry Hughey qualified to join Woodward's growing state bound team this February with a time of 51.09 surpassing the state meet qualifying time of 52.00. Henry's strong swim brings our 2023 GHSA Team to more than 15 athletes. 

The diving portion of the meet was held on Friday evening. Dillon Craig, Zach Galitzin, and RJ Snyder competed in the 11-dive portion of the meet. RJ Snyder broke his own school record for 11-dive, scoring 573.10.
