Eighth-grade dancer Riley French recently attended the national tour of Dancing with the Stars during its stop in Atlanta. The experience offered a behind-the-scenes look at a national touring production and the opportunity to engage directly with professionals in the dance industry.

The opportunity was made possible through Britt Stewart and her nonprofit organization, Share The Movement, which works to expand access and representation in dance by providing mentorship, resources, and industry connections for young dancers.

As part of the experience, Riley went backstage, met members of the cast, and participated in a Q&A session with Britt Stewart. She also attended the live performance at the Fox Theatre.
