Eighth-grader Logan Burr recently participated in the Georgia Senate Page Program, gaining a firsthand look at state government in action.

During her day at the Georgia State Capitol, Logan worked alongside her local senator, a Woodward alumnus, supporting the daily operations of the Senate floor. She observed how bills move through the legislative process and engaged directly with elected officials, deepening her understanding of how policy decisions are made.

The experience offered a meaningful introduction to civic leadership and public service. Through her participation, Logan strengthened her interest in government, leadership, and community engagement, bringing classroom learning to life in a powerful, real-world setting.
