Fifth-grader Rishaan D. showcased his strategic skills at the SuperNationals Chess Tournament this past weekend, tying for second place in the highly competitive K–6 division.
Held only once every four years, the SuperNationals is a premier event sanctioned by the U.S. Chess Federation. It brings together the strongest K–12 players from across the country, offering a national stage for emerging chess talent.
