Film Students Earn Best Cinematography Award at Atlanta High School Film Festival

Students in Woodward Advanced Film class earned the award for Best Cinematography at the 2026 Atlanta High School Film Festival for their film, Subtext.

This marks the first year Woodward’s Advanced Film students have submitted a project to the festival, making the recognition an exciting milestone for the program and its growing presence in student filmmaking.

The Atlanta High School Film Festival celebrates emerging student filmmakers from across the region, recognizing excellence in storytelling, production, and visual artistry. Woodward students were honored specifically for their cinematography, highlighting their creativity, technical skill, and collaborative work behind the camera.
