The Middle School Debate Team recently competed in the Atlanta Urban League Debate (AUDL) at Thomasville Heights Elementary School, winning first place in all divisions. The team also won first place for the Sweepstakes Award, awarded based on a combination of factors including debater turnout, the number of family judge volunteers, and overall performance in debate rounds.

The Middle School team, coached by Da'Nall Wilmer and Lauren VanCamp, had 21 debaters compete—their largest tournament turnout this year.
