Rising first-grader Nova M. recently competed at the 2025 NGA National Gymnastics Championship in Virginia Beach.

At just six years old, Nova represented the state of Georgia as the only male gymnast from the state to compete in the national meet—and he made history. Competing at Level 2, Nova earned the All-Around Gold Medal in his division, with standout finishes that included:

• Gold on Rings, Vault, High Bar, and Floor—earning a perfect 10 on the Floor
• Silver on Pommel Horse
• Bronze on Parallel Bars

Nova’s performance also earned him a place on the Premier National Team for the second consecutive year, cementing his status as a two-time national champion for Georgia.

Beyond the mat, Nova’s achievements have garnered broader recognition. In 2024, he was honored with a formal Proclamation from the Clayton County Board of Commissioners for his accomplishments and contributions to the community.
