Rising Senior, Aarav Kadam was selected into the University of Georgia Young Scholars summer research internship program at the Griffin campus. During the program, Aarav worked 30 hours per week, engaged in research under the guidance of a faculty mentor on the UGA Athens, Griffin, or Tifton campus. 

Upon completion of the program, students present their research during the poster session at the Young Scholars Pre-Collegiate Research Conference held on the UGA Athens campus. There Aarav won 1st place for his research on the Fabrication of Porous Ti4O7 Electrodes and Their Application for Electrochemical PFAS Degradation. 

The Young Scholars Program is a paid five-week summer internship program for high school students interested in agricultural, food, and environmental sciences.
