Zhihan L., a second-grade student at Woodward North, earned a first-place finish at the Jekyll Island Cup, a two-day regional championship held March 28–29.
Competing in the Girls 8U division, Zhihan secured the regional title, showcasing impressive skill and determination against a strong field of young athletes.
Since 2004, the Jekyll Island Cup has been recognized as one of the longest-running youth regional championships in the United States, drawing competitors from across the region.
