Sixth-grader Nick G. and his GMSAA teammates earned a spot at the 2025 FBU National Football Championship Tournament in Naples, Florida, after winning two competitive regional matchups to emerge as one of the top teams in the country.
Competing against elite programs from across the nation, GMSAA finished the tournament ranked among the Top 5 sixth-grade teams nationally. After a first-round loss to Southeast Florida, a perennial powerhouse and the tournament’s host team, the squad responded with resilience, closing championship play with two decisive shutout victories—27–0 over Massachusetts and 33–0 over Kentucky.
