Sixth-graders Finlay S. and Emily B. helped lead their Blue Oompa Loompas softball team to victory, capturing the title of Spring 2025 Druid Hills Youth Sports (DHYS) 12/14U Softball Champions.
DHYS, based in Decatur, Georgia, has been a cornerstone of youth baseball and softball since 1962. Operating primarily out of Medlock Park, DHYS offers recreational and competitive programs for children aged 5 to 15, emphasizing both athletic development and community engagement. The league is renowned for fostering sportsmanship and lifelong friendships among its participants.
