Last week, the WA Mock Trial team competed in the Georgia High School Mock Trial Regional Competition. This was Woodward's second year competing. The regional competition culminated with an award ceremony.
Two of Woodward's witnesses—Niyah Amezqua '26 and Maya Joshi '27—won “Outstanding Witness” awards for their performances in Rounds 1 and 2 (of 3). This marks Maya’s second consecutive year winning the award. Serena Lakhani '25 won the team’s first ever “Outstanding Attorney” award. Chloe Stathopoulos '27 competed in the competition’s Courtroom Artist competition.
