In this busy time leading into the end of fall semester and the holiday season, I often find it hard to remember all that I am thankful for. I know that I am always thankful for all my blessings, but it can be hard to bring that gratitude to the forefront in the midst of such a busy time.
When I think about what I have been given in my life, I feel like there is not enough gratitude in the world to express how much I value all that I have been blessed with in my life. I don't think I could ever do anything to pay back the opportunity I have been given. At the center of this vast opportunity lies Woodward Academy. Woodward Academy is my home away from home. When I am not home, I am at Woodward. Woodward is constantly doing something for me.It's hard to comprehend that I get to go to a school that is one of the best independent schools in the nation. I get to come to a safe, loving environment every day to learn from the most enthusiastic teachers and mentors that I could ever be exposed to anywhere. I get to lead and follow and see friends and socialize and participate and play sports and grow. Woodward is the reason that I am who I am today. My gratitude could never be enough to pay this institution back for everything it does for me. But in this busy time, I just want to say, "Thank you, Woodward."
