The girl’s lacrosse team finished their season strong as one of the top five teams in the 5-AAAAA region area 2. The team competed closely for the No. 4 seed, but fell to Midtown in the end. The program continues to grow each season (nearly tripling in numbers since 2021), with this season being the first year in more than five years to field three teams – Middle School, Junior Varsity, and Varsity – with full game schedules. 

Among the team successes this season, three girls were recognized for the GHSA 5-AAAAA All-Area 2, 2nd team, and Honorable Mention teams. Junior Zoe Juhan was voted 2nd team, while sophomores Logan Bagwell and Maddie Miller were appointed Honorable Mention.

The Lady War Eagles will build upon the foundation and strength they found together this season, and continue to climb in 2023.
