Woodward’s endowment is a sustainable funding source that provides long-term financial stability for our school. Gifts to capital projects ensure funding of critical building priorities, renovations, and special projects.
Endowed Funds
The Academy has 75 named endowed funds that are restricted to specific purposes. The following are current priorities and thresholds to establish a permanent endowed fund:
Student Financial Aid

Provides need-based student financial aid to qualified students

Minimum financial commitment of $100,000
Student and Teacher Enrichment
Endowed Chair

Honors administrative, faculty, and staff positions for their distinguished service and commitment to Woodward

Minimum financial commitment of $1,000,000
Endowed Professorship

Provides support for a faculty member in the form of enhanced salary or program support

Faculty & Program Support

Provides resources for faculty, enhancements, facility maintenance, and programmatic support

Awards and Prizes

Provides and annual award to a student faculty or staff member for superlative performance in a discipline or unique area of interest
