Capital & Endowment Giving
Transformative philanthropic commitments drive our strategic vision and sustain the distinctive Woodward experience for years to come. From advancing our campus development plan to securing endowment support for faculty, financial aid, and innovative programs, these visionary investments provide long-term financial stability and fuel continued excellence at the Academy.
Endowed Funds
The Woodward Endowment, with a market value of over $150 million, is comprised of more than 80 named endowed funds. This critical income allows us to recruit and retain exceptional faculty, guide families through the complex college admissions search, and offer a Woodward education to deserving students who qualify for financial aid.

Planned Giving
The R.L. Brand Jr. ’35 Society, established in 2004, honors alumni, parents, and friends who have included Woodward Academy in their estate plans. These generous commitments—made through bequests, trusts, and other planned gifts—create a lasting legacy that strengthens the Academy for generations. Planned giving is a powerful way to reflect your enduring commitment to the Woodward experience.
