Rising Second-Grader Receives Superior Ratings for Piano Solos
Rising second-grader Leilani C. received a superior rating for her two Piano Solo performances and her Music Theory at the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) competition held earlier this spring. Leilani received her federal certificates during her spring recital in May. This was her first time participating in the NFMC competition, the largest nonprofit organization in America aimed to promote and support American music, performers, and music education.
Leilani studies piano under the tutelage of Joy Gilmore of Joyful Sound Piano Studio in South Fulton.
