Senior Named National American Miss Georgia
Senior Christina Millar was recently named the 2020 National American Miss Georgia at the state pageant held July 3-5, 2020. Christina will attend the National Pageant in Orlando, Florida at Disneyworld during Thanksgiving
week, to represent Georgia.
The National American Miss Pageants are dedicated to celebrating America’s greatness and encouraging its future leaders. Each year, the National American Miss Pageants awards $1.5 million in cash, scholarships, and prizes to recognize and assist the development of young women nationwide. The Pageant program is based on inner beauty, as well as poise and presentation. Emphasis is placed on the importance of gaining self-confidence, learning new skills, learning good attitudes about competition, and setting and achieving personal goals.
Christina is Woodward's marching band drum major, leads Karate for students from ages 3-50, and is the founder of Blossom, where she promotes confidence through volunteering and workshops.
