Sophomore Ranks Nationally in French Contest
Sophomore Jackson Hightower ranked nationally in the 85th National French Contest, Le Grand Concours. Students were evaluated for their reading, oral, and listening comprehension skills in French. Nearly 70,000 students from 50 states competed in the event.
Additionally, several other Woodward French students received Mention d'Honneur awards for scoring in the top half of the national results. Congratulations to Madison Collins, Maxim Belykh, Ben Brown, and Maddy Hall.
Le Grand Concours is a national competition sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of French.
