Upper School Students Excel in Language Proficiency Exam

Fifteen students were selected to take the DELF (Diplôme d'Etude en Langue Française) exam—an official qualification awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the competency of French language skills of candidates from outside France. Student participants were tested at four different levels—A1, A2, B1, and B2—based on their knowledge of the French language that correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Level B2 is required to enter a French university as a non-French speaker.

In recent years, Woodward Academy and the International and Global Connections Program office has worked diligently to become the only school in Georgia to offer international exams in French, Spanish, German, Japanese, and Chinese. Woodward also is the only school accredited as a test center for both French and Spanish in the State of Georgia.
