Meet our Primary School Vice Chair

Emily Miller is the Primary School Vice Chair. She assists Kia in organizing Parent Community events in the PS and will take over as chair for the following school year. Emily and her husband, Todd, have children in grades PreK, 1, 3, and 5. Emily is a former CNN writer and producer turned novelist. Her favorite movie is Anne of Green Gables and her favorite food is her husband's cooking. They chose Woodward knowing it could provide a rigorous and inspiring education no matter what their children pursued as their calling. From their oldest son, a budding scientist who discovered the double bass, to their six-year-old daughter who requested to be an artist for Halloween, each of their children has created their own educational journey. It's been a beautiful experience watching them discover themselves and grow those passions at Woodward.
