US Parent Community
Welcome to the Upper School Parent Community. Our 2017-2018 school year is well under way and off to a great start for everyone. We began the school year by treating our Upper School students to a welcome back ice cream social. Since then, parent volunteers have assisted with the annual College Fair and the Fall Blood Drive, as well as coordinated events for the benefit of our students like Donut Day and Exam Treat Day.
Our dedicated parent volunteers work throughout the year to show appreciation for our wonderful US teachers and staff. Each grade sponsors a themed luncheon, providing opportunities for all parents to participate on many levels. Please take a moment to visit the WA Parent Community Facebook page to view photos of various Parent Community events.
These are just some of the ways we show how much we appreciate our students and teachers. Don’t worry if you haven’t been able to join in the fun so far because there are many more opportunities remaining – Spring Blood Drive, Spring Donut Day, and the ever popular Last Blast in May when we will need LOTS of assistance from the US parents!
How can you find out what’s next? Visit the USPC newsletter or the USPC calendar for notices and links to volunteer. It’s a great way to meet other Woodward parents and stay connected with your child’s school experiences. If you aren’t sure where to start, just contact one of us. We are happy to help!
