Academic Camps

Experienced Woodward teachers provide campers with step-by-step wise guidance as they refine skills for reading and writing, math, SAT preparation, and more.

Athletic Camps

Young athletes at any skill level can learn new sports or fine-tune their techniques in favorite sports through individual and small group instruction with Woodward coaches as well as student and alumni athletes.

Enrichment Camps

From technology to fine arts, our enrichment camps provide challenging, exciting opportunities for aspiring robotics engineers, movie directors, magicians, dancers, and others to jump-start their futures.

Woodward North Camps

Camp offerings at Woodward North in Johns Creek range from writing workshops to instruction in video game design, bringing the best of the Academy right to your neighborhood.

Odyssey Day Camp

Fill your summer with fun! Led by our experienced counselors and staff, our Odyssey Day Camp juniors (grades K*-3) and explorers (grades 4-6) enjoy activities, entertainment, and crafts.

WACtivity Camp

Our after-camp care program, WACtivity Camp, provides an afternoon of entertainment for campers who are not picked up at the end of their academic, athletic, or enrichment camps as well as for campers who ride the afternoon bus after half-day specialty camps.

Bus Service

Hundreds of campers get to and from Woodward every weekday during the summer, and your child can too. We’re pleased to offer extensive bus services to and from Main Campus in College Park. With three buses and eight stops to choose from, everyone has a way to get to Woodward.

Morning Bus:

Any camper enrolled in a morning camp or full-day camp on Main Campus can ride.

Afternoon Bus:

Any camper enrolled in an afternoon or full-day camp on Main Campus ending between 3:30 and 4 p.m. can ride.
COST: $30 per week (sign up with registration)

Health and Medicine

A Woodward school nurse will be available to assist with medications and to supervise the health and safety of every camper. Parents will be given the opportunity to provide information on any medical conditions or allergies during the registration process. Parents should contact the school nurse with specific concerns or requests at 404.379.7104 or contact the summer camp office at 404.765.4400.

Registration and Payment

Policies

Woodward Academy requires that every student be supervised when on campus during the summer, regardless of age.
Students must be picked up promptly at the scheduled time.

Engaging in the following behaviors will result in immediate dismissal without a refund:

Fighting, making threats, bullying, or other disruptive behavior that is distracting to participants
The use or possession of alcohol, tobacco, drugs, knives, firearms, or other weapons

The dress code is informal, but students must use good judgment in their choice of clothing. Footwear must be worn at all times. No clothing item may display offensive imagery or suggest sexual activity, alcohol, or drugs.
The Woodward Academy Honor Code forbids stealing, cheating, or lying. Students in violation of this policy may be dismissed or suspended without a refund.
Students must show respect and cooperation in their relationships with their teachers, camp staff members, and campmates.

Camper Credits

Bring a new friend to camp and earn a reward!

You will earn a one-time $25 credit off your camp registration when you refer a new camper to Woodward's summer camps! There is no limit to the number of new friends you can bring; you will receive a $25 credit for each new camper who lists your name in the referral section of their registration.

Note:

New campers cannot refer each other and both receive the referral credit.
We can only issue credit when new campers enter your name during registration.
