The Media Distinction allows you to excel in media arts through a comprehensive program. To earn this distinction, students must apply by 10th grade, complete professional certifications, develop a web-based portfolio showcasing work in multiple media disciplines, and earn at least six academic credits in media-related courses. You'll gain real-world experience through internships, service projects, or media events—all while earning academic credits in courses you love. Beyond graduation, you’ll have a professional portfolio, industry certifications, and hands-on experience that will set you apart for college and future career opportunities.
