For 14 consecutive years, Woodward Academy has ranked in the top 10 in the large workplace category of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Top Workplaces program, out of 175 of Atlanta's top companies. Since the program's inception, Woodward has been number one for four years, number two for six years, number three for two years, and number eight for one year. President Stuart Gulley has received the highest honor in the special award category for leadership in large organizations four times. In 2016 and 2023, Woodward also received the the special award category for Appreciation. ("Employees feel genuinely appreciated at Woodward Academy.")
