The Woodward Academy Parent Community (WAPC)
The Woodward Academy Parent Community is the official parent organization dedicated to supporting the Academy’s mission by fostering a strong sense of community, enriching campus life, and enhancing the student experience through various programs and volunteer efforts. Every Woodward Academy parent is automatically a member of the Parent Community.
Throughout the year, parent volunteers organize a range of activities, such as welcoming new families, hosting parent education events, managing athletic concessions and the Consignment Shop, planning teacher appreciation events, and coordinating the annual Super Goober Day festival. By volunteering, parents not only strengthen the community but also build lasting friendships. Regardless of your time or talents, there’s a place for you in the Woodward Academy Parent Community!
Woodward Academy is more than just a school. We are Atlanta at its very best.
We are the only private school that truly represents all of Atlanta, a community of diverse students and families. Here, your child will learn how to respect and relate to other people and cultures, fostering personal connection and growth.
We are a big community, one with size and scope and diversity, and yet the Woodward experience is deeply personalized. Your student can tailor their own educational experience to their unique talents, interests, and passions.
