Woodward Academy is more than just a school. We are Atlanta at its very best.

We are the only private school that truly represents all of Atlanta, a community of diverse students and families. Here, your child will learn how to respect and relate to other people and cultures, fostering personal connection and growth.

We are a big community, one with size and scope and diversity, and yet the Woodward experience is deeply personalized. Your student can tailor their own educational experience to their unique talents, interests, and passions.

What Makes Woodward Different

The Woodward Academy Parent Community (WAPC)

The Parent Community is the official parent organization that supports the goals of the Academy by building community, enriching campus life, and enhancing the student experience through programming and volunteer activities. Once your student enters Woodward, you as a parent are a member of the Parent Community.

Parent volunteers plan activities throughout the year. Some of these include hosting events to welcome new families, sponsoring parent education programs, running the school consignment shop, organizing teacher appreciation events, and planning the annual Super Goober Day festival. Through volunteering, our parents strengthen the community while forming friendships at the same time. No matter what your time or talents, there is a home in the Woodward Academy Parent Community for you.
