About Woodward North



  • Opened in Fall 1990
  • Located on a 33-acre wooded campus in Johns Creek, Georgia, with two large and well-equipped playgrounds, a nature trail, an outdoor classroom overlooking a stream, a large soccer field, and a horseback-riding ring
  • Enrolls over 300 students in Pre-K to 6th grade
  • Average student to teacher ratio: 6:1
  • Cocurricular offerings include horseback riding, fencing, golf, tap class, jump rope club, robotics, and competitive chess club


  • Transition Learning Support Program offered to students with diagnosed learning challenges in 3rd through 6th grades
  • Approximately 90 percent of students matriculate in 7th grade on Main Campus
