Since the program's inception, Woodward has been number one for two years and number two for three years. Professional Development

Woodward Academy offers professional development opportunities to all 665 employees to introduce participants to the inner workings of the Academy—including academic affairs, admissions, advancement, governance, facilities, dining services, and student transportation. These opportunities assure continuity of leadership succession in administrative roles, as well as provide a meaningful way for employees to experience professional and personal growth.

Applying to Woodward

Woodward Academy accepts applications year round for all teacher, instructional aide, community coach, and substitute teacher positions. Although we prefer candidates with experience and Master’s degrees and above, we also believe in giving beginning instructors a chance. Salaries are adjusted commensurate with experience. Woodward Academy offers a complete benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, disability and a 403(b) plan through TIAA-CREF.
